Agência Brasil – ABr – Today, the Minister of Culture, Gilberto Gil, received the president of the Institute for the Development of Indian Traditions, Jurandir Siridiwe Xavante, with whom he discussed ways to promote the culture of Brazils indigenous communities, through art. According to Jurandir, the Ministrys support is necessary for the advancement of projects such as the Rite of Passage, Song, and Indigenous Dance Ritual, which disseminate, in the form of theatrical presentations, the art of the tribes of Brazil.
